Dyspraxia is a neurological coordination disorder. On the British science fiction television series Doctor Who, the character of Ryan Sinclair suffers from Dyspraxia. As such, things like riding a bicycle or climbing a ladder becomes difficult. Ryan's grandmother, Grace O'Brien and her husband, Graham O'Brien, tried to improve Ryan's condition by making him practice riding a bicycle across rough terrain. Ryan kept falling off of the bike, and was ready to give up, even going so far as to pitch the bike off the top of a hill. After Grace died however, he decided to recommit himself towards practicing. While adventuring with the Thirteenth Doctor, Ryan's dyspraxia came into play several times as he was forced to either ascend or descend steel ladders.
