The Dunwich Horror is an American feature film of the supernatural occult thriller subgenres of horror. It is loosely based on the short story "The Dunwich Horror" by Gothic author H.P. Lovecraft. The film was directed by Daniel Haller with a script written by Curtis Lee Hanson, Henry Rosenbaum, and Ronald Silkosky. It was produced by American International Pictures and released theatrically in the United States on January 14th, 1970.
