The drill gun is a fictional item featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. It is associated with the Blade line of comic book titles and first appeared in Blade, Volume 5 #1, published under Marvel's MAX imprint in March, 2002.
Description[]
Its pretty much like it sounds. The drill gun is a battery operated high-powered drill attached to a gun handle. While it may be fine for fastening two heavy pieces of wood together, it is more ideal as a weapon against killing vampires. When a good old fashioned wooden stake doesn't get the job done, you can't go wrong with a drill gun.
History[]
The drill gun was designed and used by Eric Brooks, aka Blade. He went to a police station in New York City to investigate a string of juvenile arrests. He discovered that most of the police officers working that shift were actually vampires who were preparing to feast upon their most recent arrest suspects. Blade went into the jail cell before the vampires could kill the youths and skewered several of them with his drill gun.
