Drexel Walsh is a fictional politician and a minor character featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is associated with the X-Men line of titles and made a single appearance in Wolverine #162 in May, 2001.
Biography[]
Drexel Walsh was a senator and a shady individual who had dipped his corrupt fingers into several different unsavory adventures; not the least of which, included the C.I.A.'s involvement in the Weapon X Program - the top secret experimental think tank that thought it would be fun to bond Adamantium to a Canadian mutant known as Logan with no consideration of any possible fallout.
As it turned out, Logan, who later became known as Wolverine, ended up brainwashed and broke into Walsh's mansion and slaughtered him. Though Wolverine was truly innocent of any wrongdoing, he likely didn't shed any tears for the shish-kabobbed Drexel Walsh, though Beast gave him some serious stink-eye over the whole affair.
Notes & Trivia[]
