The Dread Doctors are a group of three physicians with ties to the paranormal. They were seen in episodes from season five of the MTV television series Teen Wolf wherein they were presented as the primary antagonists of the season. There were three of these strangely garbed individuals, who was addressed by the titles of The Surgeon, The Pathologist, and The Geneticist.
The Dread Doctors were once scientists, who had long ago forsook their humanity and worshped the supernatural. They became the subject of a horror novel in the 1960s, also known as The Dread Doctors, which was written by Doctor Valack.
Marcel, a bar owner and soldier in the French and Indian War, was a loyal friend to Sebastien Valet and covered his crimes as The Beast of Gevaudan. After his death, Marcel began to practice the farthest edges of pseudoscience and harnessed electromagnetic forces in order to bring back his friend. Along with two others, they used these forces to prolong their lives, give them power, and, most importantly, make people forget about them.
How the Dread Doctors continued to prolong their lives was through a Nazi werewolf, Garrett Douglas. Keeping him in a tube with green fluid, they injected themselves with it when necessary.
Their primary goal was to create the perfect killing machine. They nearly succeeded with Theo Raeken who they described as "perfect evil," however, they discovered that to create real evil was to "corrupt something good." Harnessing the power of La Bête du Gévaudan, they resurrected Sebastien Valet through Mason Hewitt.
Once the beast remembered who it was, it killed the doctors while they reveled in their success.
