"Poison of the Blood" is the title of the first story featured in the first issue of the Dracula Lives! illustrated magazine series published by Marvel Comics and Curtis Magazines. The story was written by Gerry Conway with artwork by Gene Colan, inks by Tom Palmer, and lettering by Gaspar Saladino. The second story is called "Suffer Not a Witch..." by writer Roy Thomas, artist Alan Weiss, and inker Dick Giordano. The next story is called "Zombie!" and was written by an unknown author and illustrated by Tony DiPreta. The fourth tale is a two-page story called "Ghost of a Chance!", illustrated by Bill LaCava. The fifth story is "Fright!" by writer Stan Lee and artist Russ Heath. The final feature is "To Walk Again in Daylight!" by Steve Gerber with artwork by Rich Buckler & Pablo Marcos and lettering by Joe Rosen. All original stories were edited by Roy Thomas. This issue shipped in March, 1973 and carries a cover price of .75 cents per copy.
