Doomsday Clock is an American comic book limited series of the superhero fantasy genre. It was published by DC Comics and ran for twelve issues between January, 2018 and February, 2020. The book mish-mashes the continuity of the mainstream DC Universe with that of the Watchmen reality. The series was written by Geoff Johns with artwork and inks by Gary Frank. It was colored by Brad Anderson with lettering by Rob Leigh. The title was edited by Brian Cunningham with Amedeo Turturro as associate editor.

- Watchmen, and all related characters and concepts were created by writer Alan Moore and artist Dave Gibbons. Copyright ownership on the franchise belongs to DC Comics. The original comic series ran for twelve issues from September, 1986 to October, 1987. The series received widespread critical acclaim and has been adapted into a feature film in 2009, a television series in 2019 and a motion comic.
- Batman was created by comic book writer Bill Finger and graphic artist Bob Kane. He first appeared in Detective Comics #27 in May, 1939. He received his first ongoing series, Batman, in the Spring, 1940 beginning with Batman #1.
- Superman was created by writer Jerry Siegel and artist Joe Shuster. He first appeared in Action Comics #1 in June, 1938 in a story called "Superman, Champion of the Opressed".
