Don Forbes was a Canadian actor born in Alberta on June 9th, 1912. He played a television broadcast commentator on two Irwin Allen projects; most notably, the 1960 film The Lost World and three episodes of the Lost in Space television series. He appeared in the original unaired series pilot No Place to Hide, as well as the first two episodes The Reluctant Stowaway and The Derelict. He was uncredited in all three appearances. Forbes passed away on November 28th, 1995 at the age of 84.
