Dominar is a fictional title featured on the syndicated science fiction television series Farscape. It relates to the Hynerian culture and is a title used to denote the highest ranking authoritative member of their kind. In Earth terms, it is the equivilant of a monarch, king, or president. The Hynerian Rygel XVI was the Dominar of his home world until he was unseated by his traitorous cousin, Bishan, who then took over the title.
