"The Time of the Doctor" is a holiday special episode of the 2005 relaunch of the British science fiction television series Doctor Who. The episode bridges the gap between series 7 and 8 of the program. It was directed by Jamie Payne with a script written by Steven Moffat. It first aired on BBC One and BBC America on Christmas Day, December 25th 2013.
