"Planet of the Spiders (Part 6)" is the twenty-sixth episode of season eleven of the British science fiction television series Doctor Who and the 371st episode of the series overall. It is the sixth installment in the "Planet of the Spiders" serial. It was directed by Barry Letts with a script written by Robert Sloman. It was produced by Barry Letts and first aired on BBC One on June 8th, 1974.

- This is the final installment in the "Planet of the Spiders" serial.
- This is the final appearance of Jon Pertwee as the Third Doctor in a standard appearance. He regenerates into the Fourth Doctor in this episode.
- This is the first appearance of actor Tom Baker as the Fourth Doctor, who goes on to become one of the more popular versions of the Doctor on the series.
- This is the first time that the phrase "regeneration" is used in reference to a Time Lord going through a physical transformation from one form to another.
