"Father's Day" is the title to the eighth episode of series one of the 2005 iteration of the science fiction drama series Doctor Who. Combining the episode totals from both this series and the original one, it is 703rd episode of the franchise (not counting movies). The episode was directed by Joe Ahearne with a script written by Paul Cornell. It first aired in the United Kingdom on BBC One and in the United States on BBC America on Saturday, May 14th, 2005.

- This is the first and only canonical appearance of Pete Tyler, albeit from a different timeline. A variant version of the character from an alternate reality appeared in three episodes from series two, "Rise of the Cybermen", "The Age of Steel" and "Doomsday".
