David Campbell[]
David Campbell was a human who lived in London in the mid-22nd century. When the Dalek saucers came to Earth and began conquering humanity, David Campbell and several others formed a Resistance. In the year 2164, David and his colleagues met the time traveling Doctor and his companions. David became enamored with the Doctor's granddaughter, Susan Foreman and the two eventually fell in love and were married. Susan elected to part company with the Doctor and stay with David.
Dortmun[]
Dortmun was a scientist and a freedom fighter who lived in the mid-22nd century. Confined to a wheelchair, he was a member of the Resistance that was organized to combat the threat of the Daleks. Dortmun designed a bomb that he believed would be strong enough to rupture the outer shell of a Dalek. When his first attempt failed to produce the desired results, Dortmun built a second bomb. However, he was disintegrated by a Dalek death ray before he had the opportunity to detonated the other bomb.
