"Doctor Strange" is the otherwise untitled twenty-third issue of the fourth Doctor Strange ongoing comic book series published by Marvel Comics. It was written by Dennis "Hopeless" Hallum with artwork, inks, and color art by Niko Henrichon. It was lettered by Cory Petit of Virtual Calligraphy. The story was edited by Nick Lowe with Allison Stock as assistant editor and Darren Shan as associate editor. This issue shipped with a September, 2017 cover date and carries a cover price of $3.99 per copy (US).
"Doctor Strange"[]
While Baron Mordo continues to make with the mystic crazy inside the Dark Witch's swank penthouse, Doctor Strange, Spider-Woman, Ben Urich and unlikely ally, Wilson Fisk continue to combat the various monster hordes spilling out of the Dark Dimension. Wilson Fisk gets possessed by a juvenile smoke demon. Jessica Drew nearly becomes a werebear, and Ben Urich takes on the power of the Light Knight to fight the Fisk smoke demon.
Meanwhile, the Defenders are in the city streets tacking all of the monstrous abominations that are ravaging the city. Luke Cage manhandles some crazy critters, while Iron Fist takes down a sloppy dragon. Baron Mordo dismisses Cloak, but then he really gets ready to up the ante, shouting "Bring it, Strange. Bring. It. On." Next issue: "It Gets Brought!"
