- Doctor Stephen Strange was created by writer Stan Lee and artist Steve Ditko. He first appeared in the third story from Strange Tales, Volume 1 #110 in July, 1963 titled "Dr. Strange - Master of Black Magic".
- This issue carries the approval stamp of the Comics Code Authority.
- According to Comic Reader #127, this issue shipped to retailers on February 10th, 1976.
- Dracula was created by Irish author Bram Stoker. He is the titular antagonist of Stoker's 1897 novel Dracula, which was inspired by an actual Wallachian nobleman known as Vlad II, aka Vlad the Impaler.
- Events from this storyline continue from the "His Name is Dr. Strange" story from Tomb of Dracula #44, released this month.
- Even though Dracula is destroyed in this issue, don't worry, kiddies. He is immediately resurrected in Tomb of Dracula #45.
- Stephen Strange invokes the Tetragrammaton in this issue, which is the transliteration for YHWH or JHVH, the Hebrew name for Jehovah, aka God.
