Biography[]
Doctor Rose was a physician of an unspecified field of medicine who worked at the Spruce Medical Center in Portland, Oregon. Doctor Rose was charged with taking care of a patient named Marie Kessler who, in addition to suffering from a terminal illness, had been attacked by a Wesen by the name of Hulda. Doctor Rose consulted with Kessler's only living relative, homicide detective Nick Burkhardt. She had noted Marie had numerous scars across her body, many of which dated back several years. She asked Nick what she did for a living and he told her that his aunt was a librarian. Doctor Rose was unaware that Marie Kessler was also a Grimm - a hunter of the supernatural. When Marie slipped into a coma, Doctor Rose instructed Nick to let her rest and that there was nothing more he could do for her. [1]
