Doctor Mordrid is an American independent feature film of the superhero fantasy genre. It was co-directed by Albert and Charles Band with a screenplay written by C. Courtney Joyner based on an original idea by Charles Band. It was produced by Full Moon Entertainment and was released direct-to-video on September 24th, 1992. Actor Jeffrey Combs stars as Doctor Anton Mordrid - Master of the Unknown, who deciphers the signs that will lead to his ultimate confrontation against Kabal, played by Brian Thompson. Aiding him in this endeavor is police consultant Samantha Hunt, played by Yvette Nipar.

- Full Moon Entertainment originally optioned the rights to do a film based on the Marvel Comics character Doctor Strange. When this plan fell through, they re-tooled the project as Doctor Mordrid. Doctor Strange was ultimately made into a big budget theatrically released feature film in 2016 by Marvel Studios.
- Filming on Doctor Mordrid began in January of 1992. It was shot in-studio in Los Angeles, California.
- This film was lampooned in the June 10th, 2022 episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000.
- Samples of Richard Band's film score from this movie was utilized in the trailer for Aliens in the Wild, Wild West, which was also distributed by Full Moon Entertainment.
