Dr. Fate is an American comic book limited series of the superhero & supernatural fantasy genres. It features the character of Doctor Fate and was published by DC Comics. The series ran for four issues from July to October, 1987. Dr. Fate was written by J.M. DeMatteis with artwork by Keith Giffen and inks by Dave Hunt. It was colored by Anthony Tollin with Agustin Mas as letterer. The series was edited by Denny O'Neill. The series is notable for introducing the characters of Eric and Linda Strauss, who become the new Doctor Fate following the death of their mentor, Kent Nelson, at the conclusion of the series.
