Docking Bay 94 is a fictional location featured in the Star Wars multimedia franchise. It first appeared in the original 1977 film Star Wars, later identified by its complete title Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.
Docking Bay 94 is a docking bay located in the space port city of Mos Eisley on the planet Tatooine. In 0 BBY, the Corellian smuggler Han Solo and his first mate, Chewbacca the wookiee moored their spice freighter the Millennium Falcon at Docking Bay 94.
They went to enjoy a few drinks at Chalmun's Cantina, whereupon they met Obi-Wan Kenobi and Luke Skywalker who hired them to ferry themselves and two droids to the Alderaan system.
The deal caught the attention of Zeta Squadron, who were Imperial Stormtroopers looking to recover important data possessed by one of the droids. They encountered Solo, Chewbacca, Kenobi and Skywalker as they were getting ready to board the Millennium Falcon. A firefight ensued by Han and his newfound companions were able to get away. They rocketed out of Docking Bay 94 while Stormtroopers continued to fire blast at the ship.
