Doc Savage: The Man of Bronze is an American feature film of the pulp adventure genre. It is based on the Doc Savage series of novels written by Kenneth Robeson. The movie was directed by Michael Anderson with a screenplay written by Joe Morhaim and George Pal. It was produced by George Pal Productions and Warner Bros. and released theatrically in the United States in June, 1975. The movie stars Ron Ely as the eponymous action hero Clark "Doc" Savage, Jr. with his supporting cast portrayed by Paul Gleason as Long Tom, Bill Lucking as Renny, Michael Miller as Monk Mayfair, Eldon Quick as Johnny, and Darrell Zwerling as Ham. Playing the part of the villain of the film is Paul Wexler as Captain Seas.
