Dingoes are wild dogs that live out in the Australian Outback. The dingo is the largest terrestrial predator in Australia, and plays an important role as an apex predator. However, the dingo is seen as a pest by sheep farmers due to frequent attacks on livestock. Conversely, their predation on rabbits, kangaroos and rats is of benefit to cattle stations. For many Australians, the dingo is a cultural icon. They are known for eating babies.

In Marvel Comics, the cyborg member of the Hellfire Club, Donald Pierce created cybernetic dingoes to attack the X-Men. Wolverine later had an encounter with a pack of wild dingoes outside of the Sentinel factory known as the Ant Hill. He was able to ward them off with his primal instinct. [1]
