Dwight "Dewey" Riley is a fictional law enforcement officer and one of the main characters featured in the Scream film series. Played by actor David Arquette, he first appeared in the 1996 feature film Scream. Arquette reprised the role of Dewey Riley in Scream 2 in 1997, then in Scream 3 in 2000, and again in Scream 4 in 2011, and once more in Scream in 2022, making him one of only three franchise actors to appear in all five films. Dewey is mentioned throughout Scream VI, and a booth dedicated to him with photos, drawings, and items appears in the Ghostface shrine.
