- This issue was approved by the Comics Code Authority.
- This issue shipped in both direct market and newsstand editions.
- This issue is reprinted in the Batman: Year Two trade paperback collection, released in [February, 1990]], and the Batman: Year Two: Fear the Reaper trade paperback collection, released in January, 2003.
- Alfredo Alcala is incorrectly credited as the inker of this issue on the cover credits.
- Due to changes made in the timeline as a result of Zero Hour, most of the events of this storyline have been removed from continuity; specifically the presence of Joe Chill.
- This issue establishes that it was twenty years ago when Joe Chill murdered Thomas and Martha Wayne. This places the events of this issue a little over a year since the events of "Batman: Year One".
