"Challenge of the Man-Bat" is the title to the first story featured in the landmark 400th issue of the first Detective Comics ongoing comic book series published by DC Comics. The story was written by Frank Robbins with artwork by Neal Adams and inks by Dick Giordano. It was lettered by John Costanza. The second story is a Batgirl feature written by Denny O'Neil with artwork by Gil Kane and inks by Vince Colletta. Both stories were edited by Julius Schwartz. This issue shipped with a June, 1970 cover date and carries a cover price of .15 cents per copy.
