Desdaemona Nimue Moreau is a fictional store proprietor and the host of the horror-themed comic book series Shock Shop by Dark Horse Comics. She first appeared in Shock Shop #1 in September, 2022.
Biography[]
Desdaemona Nimue Moreau is the proprietor of the Shock Shop - a comic book store that specializes in horror themed comic books as well as collectibles. Outwardly, Desdaemona appears like a normal human woman, but her right arm is skeletal. She dresses in steampunk inspired attire including an 18th century waistcoat, a stovepipe hat, and laced platform boots. In addition to managing the store, Desdaemona entertains customers by regaling them with chilling tales of horror from various comic book titles such as Harrow County, Death Follows, Regression and Monsters, Madmen, Maniacs.
