Dering Manor is a fictional location featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. It relates to the character of Dracula and appeared in Tomb of Dracula #6 in January, 1973 in a story called "The Moorlands Monster!"
Description[]
Dering Manor was a sizeable manor house located in the Moorlands of England. It was the ancestral home of the noble Dering family, which included Lord Edwin Dering, Lady Mary Dering, and their son, Randolph Dering.
Vampire hunters Frank Drake, Rachel van Helsing and Taj Nital came to Dering Manor to inquire about the legendary "Moorland Monster" and how it related to their pursuit of the vampire Dracula. Edwin revealed that the Moorland Monster was actually their son, Randolph, who had suffered from a recessive genetic condition that included Naevus Pilosis and Rachitis.
