Denise Michelle Crosby is an American film and television actress born in Hollywood, California on November 24th, 1957. She is best known for playing the role of Lieutenant Tasha Yar on the 1987-1994 television series Star Trek: The Next Generation. She also played a character on the series named Sela. Between the two, she appeared in a total of 30 episodes of the show.
