Biography[]
Demogobilin was a demonic entity who hailed from the infernal realm of N'Astirh. When the human super-villain Jason Macendale, aka the Hobgoblin, attempted to sell his soul to N'Astirh, the demon lord laughed at such effrontery. He was amused however, and bonded a demon to Jason's body and sent him back to Earth where he could continue to be a total pain in the ass for Spider-Man.
In short order, the demonic essence tore itself free from its host, and became corporeal. This new form took the name Demogoblin and engaged in many battles with several Earth heroes including Spider-Man, Ghost Rider, and Venom.
