Delvians are an extraterrestrial race featured in the US/Australian science fiction television series Farscape, which aired in the US on the Sci-Fi Channel from 1999 to 2003. They first appeared in the series pilot episode and was represented by the character Pa'u Zotoh Zhaan.

- Other plant-based life forms include the Phylosians from "The Infinite Vulcan" episode of Star Trek: The Animated Series as well as the predatory Triffids from the Day of the Triffids feature film, BBC mini-series and remake series.
- Other blue-skinned alien races include the cat-like Na'vi from James Cameron's blockbuster film Avatar as well as the Kree featured in various comic book title published by Marvel Comics. In Star Trek: The Animated Series, the Orions are mis-colored blue, but in fact they are actually green.
