Notes & Trivia[]
- The Defenders were created by Roy Thomas and artists Ross Andru and Bill Everett. They first appeared in "The Day of the Defenders!" story, which appeared as the first vignette in Marvel Feature #1 in December, 1971. The original line-up of this non-team consisted of Doctor Stephen Strange, the incredible Hulk, and Prince Namor, the Sub-Mariner. They've been bickering with one another ever since.
