History[]
Deer Hills Pizza was located in a neighborhood in Miles County, New York. It was managed by a man named Steve and another man named Ramone worked there as an employee.
In the late hours of October 31st, 2017, two women named Tara Heyes and Dawn Emerson stopped at the pizza place after leaving a Halloween party. Tara needed to get some food in her system to soak up some of the alcohol so she could be in decent shape to drive home. The two girls sat at a table and ordered a single slice of pizza each. Tara picked at the toppings of her slice, while Dawn folded hers in half to eat it.
Moments later, a creepy looking individual dressed as a clown came into the place and sat at a table adjacent to them. Tara and Dawn had already seen this individual outside, and his presence made Tara nervous. Dawn, highly intoxicated, decided to have some sport with the man, and went over and sat on his lap. She then took a selfie with him, but the clown did not seem particularly amused by her antics.
After Dawn was done, she returned the table. The clown, whose name was Art, picked up some tip change from the table behind them and used it to purchase a cheap costume ring from a toy vending machine. He went to the girls' table, got down on one knee, and took Tara's hand. He then slid the ring onto her hand, which Dawn found entertaining, but only served to irritate Tara even more.
Steve the manager got tired of Art's antics and warned him that he either needed to order something or he had to leave. After Art had his sport with Dawn and Tara, he walked into the rest room of the pizza place. Steve went in moments later and discovered that Art had smeared his own urine and fecal matter all over the bathroom. He grabbed the silent clown and marched him outside, warning him never to return. He then ordered Ramone to get some bleach and clean up the restroom. Dawn and Tara left the establishment moments later.
Art did not take this rejection well. He returned to the Deer Hills Pizzeria and murdered Steve. He cut his head off and shoved candles into his eyes and nose, turning him into a Steve-o-lantern. Ramone was still cleaning up the bathroom while Art murdered Steve. Ramone did not hear anything because he was shouting his displeasure at having to do such a disgusting job and demanded overtime. When Ramone returned to the main kitchen area, he found Steve's head. Art then suddenly appeared and chopped off Ramone's fingers with a meat cleaver. He then stabbed Ramone in the face with a knife. He continued to stab him repeatedly until he was dead.
The murders were discovered almost immediately. In less than an hour, reports of the grisly scene were being broadcast across local radio stations. Dawn Emerson caught a portion of the broadcast seconds before being abducted by Art the Clown.
