Biography[]

Debra Strode, maiden name unknown, was a middle-aged woman in the mid 1990s and lived in Haddonfield, Illinois. She was the wife of John Strode and the mother of Kara and Tim Strode. She was the maternal grandmother of Danny Strode. A seemingly polite and kind-hearted woman, Debra Strode likely suffered from emotional abuse at the hands of her acerbic and emotionally withholding husband, John.

On October 31st, hours before little kids would go out trick or treating for Halloween, Debra became aware of a strange man who had entered their home unannounced. This was Doctor Sam Loomis, a retired psychiatrist and formerly the handler of escaped mental patient and serial killer Michael Myers. Loomis told Debra that the house they were currently living in was Michael's original home. Debra telephoned her husband at his job and questioned him about moving their family into the home of an infamous mass murderer, but John dismissed her concerns.

Debra Strode decided that she had had enough. She began packing her bags with the intent of taking her kids away from there. As she walked out the front door, she took note of an axe that had previously been outside that was now gone. She went back into the house and began walking around nervously. The telephone rang, startling her. On the other end of the phone was a mysterious voice that whispered "We want the child" (meaning Danny). The caller then suddenly hung up.

Debra spun around to find Michael Myers standing before her. She ran out the back door, but stumbled and lost hold of her eye glasses. While fumbling about for them, she looked up to see Myers holding the missing axe. He brought the axe down on top of her, killing her. He shoved her body into the attic of the house where it was discovered later. [2]
