The Death of Superman is a full-length animated feature film based on the character of Superman as seen in comic books published by DC Comics. It was directed by Jake Castorena & Sam Liu with a screenplay written by Peter Tomasi. It was produced by DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Animation and released direct-to-video on July 24th, 2018.

- Superman was created by writer Jerry Siegel and artist Joe Shuster. He first appeared in Action Comics #1 in June, 1938 in a story called "Superman, Champion of the Opressed".
- The Death of Superman redirects to this page.
- This issue adapts the "Death of Superman" storyline, which ran through all Superman related titles published in late 1992 and culminating with Superman, Volume 2 #75 in January, 1993. The original story was written and illustrated by Dan Jurgens.
- Actors Jerry O'Connell and Rebecca Romijn are married to one another in real life, so it is only fitting that they should provide the voices of Superman and Lois Lane in this film.
