Dean Beatty is a fictional college administrator and a minor character featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. He first appeared in Marvel Team-Up #65 in January, 1978.
Biography[]
Dean Beatty was the Dean of Students at Empire State University. He worked there during the time that Peter Parker was a student.
Dean Beatty had to come up with several solutions to resolve fiscal problems at the school - not the least of which included housing. To offset costs, he had a foreign exchange student named Brian Braddock share room and board with another student, Peter Parker.
