- Deadpool was created by writer Fabian Nicieza and artist Rob Liefeld. He first appeared in New Mutants, Volume 1 #98 in February, 1991 in a story titled "The Beginning of the End (Part 1)". He received his first comic book series in 1993, which was a four-issue limited series called Deadpool: The Circle Chase. He received his first ongoing title in 1994.
