Dead of Night Featuring Man-Thing is an American comic book limited series of the horror genre. It was published by Marvel Comics under their MAX imprint and ran for four issues from April to July 2008. The series spotlights the character of the Man-Thing. The series was written by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa with artwork by Nick Percival. It was colored by Jason Rodriguez and edited by Warren Simons with Alejandro Arbona as assistant editor. The series included a framing sequence hosted by the character of "Digger", which was illustrated by Jose Angel Cano Lopez, credited as Kano.
Biochemist Ted Sallis and his team are on a mission: To recreate the serum that spawned the world's first super-soldier. But there are dangers lurking beneath the surface...what Ted doesn't realize is that the swamp itself may want him!
