- This issue is reprinted in black and white in the Essential Marvel Horror, Volume 2 trade paperback collection in October, 2008. It is also reprinted in full color in the Doctor Strange: Lords of Fear trade paperback collection in February, 2018, and in the Marvel Horror Omnibus from September, 2019.
- This is the first appearance of the Scarecrow. He appears next in Marvel Spotlight #26.
- This issue includes an advertisement for Hostess Twinkies featuring Captain Marvel.
- The individual known as the Scarecrow will later be identified as the Straw Man. He is not to be confused with Ebenezer Laughton, who is a Ghost Rider Danny Ketch villain.
