Dave Groves is one of the central characters featured in the short-lived ABC sci-fi television series Invasion. Played by actor Tyler Labine, he was introduced in the pilot episode of the series and appeared in all twenty-two aired episodes. Dave was presented as the quirky conspiracy theorist brother of reporter Larkin Groves and brother-in-law to Larkin's new husband, Ranger Russell Varon. More than anyone else in the small town of Homestead, Florida, Dave fervantly believes in the existence of extraterrestrials, but is quite unprepared when his suspicions turn out to be true as the people of Homestead are subtly killed off and replaced by alien clones.
