Dave Clarson is a fictional police inspector and a minor character featured in comic books published by DC Comics. He is part of DC's Pre-Crisis Earth-One continuity, and appeared in 1st Issue Special #12 in March, 1976.
Biography[]
Dave Clarson was a middle-aged Caucasian male from New York City, New York, where he worked as a police inspector. He was colleagues with detective Jack O'Donnell. Clarson and O'Donnell arrived on the scene of a crashed UFO off Harlem River near the North Bronx. Clarson and O'Donnell were put out by the untimely arrive of a USAF officer named Colonel MacGruder, who took control of their investigation. Moments later, the UFO ship exploded, killing Clarson. A police funeral and memorial service was held for him at Oakland Cemetery.
