"Dark Days" is the sixth and final issue of the Dark Days comic book limited series by IDW Publishing. The issue was written by Steve Niles with painted interior and cover art illustrations by Ben Templesmith. It was lettered by Robbie Robbins and edited by Jeff Mariotte. It shipped in December of 2003 and carries a cover price of $3.99 per copy (US). In this issue, Stella and Lilith agree to an unholy pact trading the ashes of Stella's late husband Eben Olemaun for proof of the existence of vampires. But Stella has an ace up to her sleeve to deal with Lilith and after an explosive epilogue, Dane tries to convince her to stay with him. Will Stella take the final steps needed to resurrect her dead husband?

"Dark Days"[]

Stella Olemaun and Lilith have their final exchange. Lilith gives Stella a box containing the ashes of her late husband, Eben, with the promise that he can be resurrected with an infusion of human blood. Stella gives Lilith a box containing documentation of the existence of vampires. While Stella champions the heroism of her husband, Lilith likewise extolls the virtues of her own mate, Vicente.

As Stella exits the building, she leaves behind a jacket filled with explosives that then detonate. She meets briefly with Dane, and tells him that she is finished with Lilith. The two kiss and Dane confesses that he is falling in love with her.

Stella brings the box with Eben's ashes to her hotel room. She opens the box, the slits open her own arm, allowing the blood to drip onto the remains. Before long, Eben is resurrected, and Stella is overcome with joy. However, Eben is still a vampire, and reveals this as he brings his fangs down upon Stella's neck.
