"Dark Days" is the untitled first issue of the Dark Days comic book limited series by IDW Publishing. The issue was written by Steve Niles with painted interior and cover art illustrations by Ben Templesmith. It was lettered by Robbie Robbins and edited by Jeff Mariotte. It shipped in June of 2003 and had a $3.99 cover price. Dark Days is the sequel to the 2002-03 series 30 Days of Night and follows the adventures of Stella Olemaun as she tries to cope with the loss of her husband Eben Olemaun and the other residents of Barrow, Alaska at the hands of a savage horde of vampires. The story is set a year after the events of the first series and takes place in Los Angeles, California as Stella attempts to prove to the world the existence of vampires.
