Darius Droobe is a fictional miser and a minor character featured in comic books published by DC Comics. He appeared in the fourth story from More Fun Comics #101 titled "An Inheritance of Happiness".
Biography[]
Darius Droobe was a cranky and miserly old man who was on the verge of dying. He intended on taking all of his immense wealth with him, leaving nothing to his heirs. An ambitious nephew named Ambrose tried to blackmail Darius into surrendering an inheritance to him.
Johnny Quick managed to cater to Droobe's better nature, and as a result, Droobe allowed him to distribute his wealth among those who he had wronged in the past.
