"Overkill" is the title to the 187th issue of the first Daredevil ongoing comic book series published by Marvel Comics. The story was written and illustrated by Frank Miller, who also rendered the cover art illustration. It was inked by and colored by Klaus Janson, and lettered by Joe Rosen. The story was edited by Denny O'Neil with Ralph Macchio as assistant editor. This issue shipped with an October, 1982 cover date and carries a cover price of .60 cents per copy.

- The character of Daredevil was created by writer Stan Lee and artist Bill Everett. He first appeared in Daredevil #1 in April, 1964.
- This issue marks the debut of Black Widow's new costume.
- Kirigi is resurrected in this issue. He was previously killed by Elektra Natchios in Daredevil #176.
- This is the first appearance of The Chaste, which is the organization that Stick belongs to. Members Claw, Shaft and Stone appear in the shadows only in this issue.
