"Elektra" is the 168th issue of the first ongoing Daredevil comic book series by Marvel Comics. The story was written and illustrated by Frank Miller with finished art and inks provided by Klaus Janson. Miller and Janson also composed the cover art illustration for this issue. The book was colored by D.R. Martin and lettered by Joe Rosen. The story was edited by Denny O'Neil with Mark Gruenwald as assistant editor. This issue shipped with a January, 1981 cover date and a cover price of 50 cents per copy (US).

  • The character of Athos, who is Elektra Natchios' bodyguard, was named after one of the Musketeers featured in Alexander Dumas' The Three Musketeers.
  • This is the first appearance of Grotto, who is a contemporary of Turk Barrett's. He will make multiple appearances as a minor criminal throughout the series. Grotto takes on a slightly larger role in season one of the Daredevil television series on Netflix where he is given the name Elliot Grote.
