Dani Nicolle is a fictional newspaper employee and a minor character featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. She is associated with the Man-Thing line of titles and first appeared in Man-Thing #20 in August, 1975.
Biography[]
Danielle "Dani" Nicolle worked for a newspaper in Atlanta, Georgia. She had a brother named Robert Nicolle, who became a super-villain known as the Scavenger. Dani came into possession of a Nightmare box, which tapped into her latent empathic psychokinesis. Unwittingly, Dani charged the box with energy, which enabled its owner, the demon Thog, to manifest a beacon of power on Earth. Freelance artist Paul Jennings came into her office one day and discovered beams of energy emanating from Dani's eyes and projecting into the box. [1]
