The Danger signal is a fictional item featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. It first appeared in Fantastic Four #31 in October, 1964 in a story called "The Mad Menace of the Macabre Mole Man!"
The Danger signal was a device used by Harvey Elder, aka the Mole Man. He maintained it in his underground lair in Subterranea. The Danger signal alerted him to threats from above. Being a naturally suspicious little Mole Man, Harvey always assumed that any pressing threat was perpetuated by his foes, the Fantastic Four.
