Biography[]
Damien Sharpe was a young boy from Stamford, Connecticut. He was the son of Miriam Sharpe. Years ago, the New Warriors engaged in a raid on a house occupied by several super-villains, one of whom was Nitro. During the battle, Nitro exploded, and the resulting blast killed more than six-hundred people, including Damien Sharpe.
During a memorial service for the Stamford casualties, Miriam Sharpe accosted Tony Stark, accusing him and others like him of being responsible for Damien's death through perceived continued acts of reckless behavior.
Miriam Sharpe spear-headed a protest rally that took place in Washington, D.C., with people carrying signs that bore Damien's name. These acts precipitated the creation of the Superhuman Registration Act. [2]
