Dalné is a fictional queen and a character featured in the Star Wars multimedia franchise. She is considered part of the official Star Wars canon and appeared in the 2017 young adult novel Star Wars: Leia, Princess of Alderaan.
Biography[]
Dalné served as the queen of the planet Naboo during the early years of the Galactic Civil War. She succeeded Queen Apailana, and was succeeded in turn by Queen Sosha Soruna. She was active in the year 3 BBY.

- The character of Dalné was created by author Claudia Gray based on concepts originally developed by George Lucas.
- Dalné is not to be confused with Dané, who was one of the Naboo Royal Handmaidens in 32 BBY.
- Dalné was born around the year 19 BBY, which is the same year that Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa were born. It is also the same year that the twins' mother, Padmé Amidala - the former Queen of Naboo died.
