Biography[]
Dahj Asha was a synthetic humanoid, who had been programmed with false memories. She was unaware that she was an android, and was likewise unaware of her neural twin, Soji Asha. She was very proud of the fact that she had been accepted into the Daystrom Institute in Okinawa, Japan.
When a Romulan hit squad invaded her apartment in Boston and murdered her boyfriend, Dahj "activated", employing enhanced fighting techniques to incapacitate her attackers. Something within her made her realize that she needed to find retired Starfleet Admiral Jean-Luc Picard, who was living at a family vineyard in France. Dahj found Picard who promised to help her. They were later attacked by Romulans and Dahj activated a second time to defend Picard. One dying Romulan ejected a highly corrosive acid that splashed on Dahj, disintegrating her.
