Cyberno is a fictional item featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. It is associated with the X-Men line of titles and first appeared in the second story from The X-Men #40 in January, 1968 called "The First Evil Mutant!"
Cyberno was a technological device utilized by Professor Charles Xavier. It had the ability to analyze, scan and track the unique bioelectric signature given off by mutants. Cyberno was a lesser version of Cerebro, but did not rely upon Professor Xavier's telepathy for amplification. Professor X used the device to track down Scott Summers, who had been kidnapped by Jack Winters.
